Valentine's Day Card Holder:
We will be celebrating Valentine's Day on Friday, February 12th. We would like for students to bring a decorated shoebox to use as a card holder. Find a shoe box (adult size shoe boxes work best) or some other type of medium sized box to decorate. You can decorate it however you would like, be creative and festive! Be sure your name is visible on it. Most importantly, MAKE SURE IT HAS AN OPENING ON THE TOP BIG ENOUGH FOR STUDENTS TO PUT CARDS AND GOODIE BAGS INTO THE BOX. ALSO, MAKE SURE YOU CAN OPEN THE BOX, OR THAT THE OPENING IS LARGE ENOUGH TO TAKE THINGS OUT OF YOUR BOX! Please have your child bring it to school on or before Friday, February 12th.
Also, while we are on the subject of calendars, please be aware that we will have a short summer this year--school will begin on August 17th for the 2016-2017 school year. You can go to the district website for more information on our new calendar. Have a great week!
